On May 24th, we will open a major exhibition, jointly with the Bay Head Historical Society about the Pound Fishing Business, which was a major commerical operation from 1850 to 1950. We are honored that the Oceanfirst Foundation has awarded us funding for this important effort. The exhibit runs through July 19th.

September 2, 2009 is the 400th Anniversary of the discovery of Barnegat Bay by Henry Hudson, the great explorer. We will celebrate this milestone, jointly with the Bay Head Historical Society, with a new exhibit and reception. "Henry Hudson's Barnegat Bay on Labor day Weekend September 5-6, 2009. |
